1. Who we are

Macron ("Macron", "we", "us") builds SaaS products, apps, e-commerce platforms, and EdTech tools for businesses in India, operating this website at macronaitech.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have over it under the DPDP Act, 2023.

2. What information we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

• Requirements form: name, email address, business name (optional), phone number (optional), and details about your project, budget range, timeline, and hosting preference.
• Display preferences: your chosen language and currency, saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them on your next visit. This never leaves your device.

We do not collect payment card details, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How your enquiry is actually sent

When you submit the requirements form, your own device opens your email app (Gmail or your phone's mail app) with the message already filled in, addressed to macron.aitech@gmail.com — you choose to hit Send. A copy of the same details is also saved directly to our server as a backup record, in case your email doesn't go through.

4. Why we use it

Solely to understand your project and respond to your enquiry — to contact you back, scope your requirements, and provide a quote or proposal. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not build advertising profiles.

5. Legal basis & your consent

Submitting the requirements form is entirely voluntary and constitutes your consent for us to process that information for the purpose stated above, in line with the DPDP Act, 2023. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us (see Section 10) — we will then stop using your data for further contact, except where we're required to retain records by law.

6. Cookies & local storage

This site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is functional local storage for your language and currency selection, which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to contact Google's servers — that request is subject to Google's own privacy policy.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. It is only ever seen by Macron team members who need it to respond to your enquiry, or disclosed if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

8. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain business records, and periodically review older records for deletion. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).

9. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

• Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it's being processed;
• Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request erasure of your personal data, once it's no longer needed for the purpose it was collected;
• Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it;
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
• Register a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Security

Enquiries submitted through this site travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Our server applies rate limiting and spam filtering on the form, and access to stored enquiry records is restricted to authorized personnel only.

11. Children's data

This website and our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental or guardian consent as required under the DPDP Act.

12. Grievance redressal

If you have a concern about how your personal data has been handled, write to our Grievance Officer at macron.aitech@gmail.com. We will acknowledge and address your concern within the timelines prescribed under applicable Indian law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

What does Macron actually build?

SaaS products, web and mobile apps, e-commerce stores (on Shopify or fully custom), and payment/delivery integrations for businesses across India — plus MACRON EdTech, an AI-powered school platform launching soon.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is scoped to your budget rather than sold as a fixed package — pricing shown on cards like "From ₹60,000" or "custom quote" is a starting point, refined once we understand your requirements. Tell us your budget on the requirements page and we'll suggest what fits.

How long does a typical build take?

It depends on scope, but you tell us your timeline on the requirements form — "As soon as possible," "1–2 months," "3+ months," or "Flexible" — and we plan around it.

Shopify or fully custom e-commerce — which do I need?

Shopify suits most stores and gets you live faster; a fully custom build makes sense when you need something Shopify's platform can't do. We'll recommend one based on your business, not push a default.

Where can you host my project?

AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean — we set up and manage the server, SSL, backups, and monitoring. If you'd rather keep data on your own hardware, we also do on-premises hosting, either on your servers or ours.

Is MACRON EdTech available yet?

It's launching soon. You can see what's coming in the Platform and Pricing sections, and join the early access waitlist from this site.

Do you support the project after launch?

Yes — our SaaS & app builds include the first few months of support after launch as part of the engagement.

Is my data handled securely?

Can I use the site in my own language or currency?

Yes — use the language switch in the top navigation (English, Hindi, Marathi, Spanish, Chinese) and the currency selector in the bottom-right corner (₹, $, £, €, A$). Prices update instantly; INR is the billing currency.
